William's Allergies!

Here's the face of our miserable allergy child. For weeks William has battled the spring climate. As beautiful as the weather has been, poor William has a hard time noticing with his constant watery eyes, swollen eye lids, itchy eyes, runny nose, and flushed face. We tried zyrtec and claritan with very little improvement. I decided it was time to head to the allergy Dr. He tested William for about 15 different things. To no surprise, William is allergic to pretty much anything green that grows (i.e. trees, pollen, weeds, grass, most plants) as well as cats and dust. The only things he was not allergic to were dogs and mold. So, we're on 3 allergy meds with the potential for a 3-5 day course of low dose steroids if we don't see improvements in a week or so. Also, as luck would have it William came down with a right ear infection today! So, say a prayer for this little guy so that he will start to feel better soon!

Poor William! It's just not fair!
I think he deserves a new puppy from Pappa. He's not allergic to them!

Poor thing!! He's still so adorable eventhough he doesn't feel well. Hopefully he'll grow out of them as he gets older? My brother was allergic to everything under the sun when he was little, and now nothing bothers him except for the pollen at the first of spring.
