January 2007 - Nash and Kelly's first trip away from the kids for the week to visit with friends and ski in Portland Oregon. Matt and Hong were nice enough to house all the couples. The only catch was the pressure of drawing the highest card in order to sleep on a bed! Nash and I found ourselves on a quality queen-sized air mattress. The couples included Matt and Hong, Mike and Kerry, and Ed & Lisa. We enjoyed our time together and have many fond memories of the scenery and weather on the mountain. Oh, and Kelly's big crash face first into ice and the boy's 2:00 am battle with vomiting and diarrhea...we think they ate something bad or caught a bad bug! THANKS TO MATT AND HONG FOR A WONDERFUL GET-AWAY. Best to you both as you prepare for the arrival of your new baby boy!

Ski Portland
